The kitchen cleaning event sure was a lot of fun and thank you to all who shared their organization ideas that evening. We LOVE our R.S. Activities Committee!
2 cups real butter softened
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
3 cups flour
3 cups quick oats
1 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
1 bottle Mrs. Richard's butterscotch ice cream topping
1 pkg milk choc chips
Mix the first six ingredients in a very large bowl. Take 1/4 cup of the misture and save. Press the remaining mixture into a large cookie sheet. Bake at 305 for 10 minutes. Let cool a bit and spread on the butterscotch topping. Sprinkle on the choc chips and cookie crumbles. Bake for an additional 12 minutes at 350. Makes about 70 small bars or 40 large bars.
